Cinnamoroll Amigurumi Pattern

Hey crochet friends!! Welcome back to another Free Pattern Friday! I'm so happy to finally share my Cinnamoroll Amigurumi Pattern with you all.

This Cinnamoroll Amigurumi Pattern works up fairly quickly but does use some techniques that new crocheters may be unfamiliar with, such as joining pieces by crocheting rather than sewing and starting a round piece with a foundation chain instead of a magic ring. I've done my best to include as many photos as I could to make these things easier, but they might be slightly challenging to get the hang of at first!

I am so excited to be sharing this pattern with you all today! I think that Cinnamoroll is just the cutest little guy and did you know that he's a puppy?? I think that's such a fun fact because I only recently learned that about him. I'm not sure what kind of animal I thought he was before, but now I know!

Anyway, let's grab our hooks and yarn and make our very own flying puppy plushie!

~If you have any questions about the pattern, or you just want to send me a picture of your finished project please contact me at contact.cutiepiecrochet@gmail.com! Ears (x2):

-You can either choose to stuff your ears lightly or not stuff them at all! I like both looks a lot, but the un-stuffed ears are slightly more pose-able than the stuffed ones!

Round 1: mr 6 [6]

Round 2: inc x6 [12]

Round 3: (sc 1, inc)x6 [18]

Round 4: sc 1, inc, (sc 2, inc)x5, sc 1 [24]

Head:

Chain 6 stitches

Round 1: Starting in the second stitch from your hook, sc 4, inc, (flip to the unworked side of the chain), sc 4, inc [12]

The increases should be at either end of your chain. I highly recommend working the beginning tail of your yarn into your stitches so that you can pull it a little tighter so that there aren't any gaps in your stitches.

Assembly:

  • Embroider the eyes with blue yarn by back stitching multiple times into the same stitches, I do the same for the blush, but with pink yarn. Then embroider a “W” shape for the mouth using the same blue yarn or black embroidery thread. I do not have exact instructions for doing this part, as every piece is slightly different for me, but usually, I mark the middle of the face with a piece of yarn and then place pins where I would like the features to be until I’m happy, and then I embroider the face.

  • Sew the open ends of the head and body together, making sure to line them up with the head centered with the body before you begin.

  • Finish your plushie by pinning the tail into a coil/cinnamon roll shape and then sew that down, so that it props Cinnamoroll into a standing position

Your Cinnamoroll is now finished! Enjoy your new plushie friend!
