Hi there! My name is Austen, and I'm the face behind the crochet hook! I absolutely love to create and I just can't wait to share my creations with all of you! 

Here, you'll find some of the tips and tricks I've learned along the way and patterns I've created!

My love for crafting started when I was in foster care and my foster parents bought a loom set and some yarn for us girls to craft with. I don't remember crafting too much with them, but I saw everything you could create with them and I was amazed at the potential. Loom knitting was a great way for me to learn how to create with yarn, and how to improvise my way to the final product I wanted!
 

I’ve been through quite a few “phases” of crafting in my life. For quite a while I was super into knitting, after that I was obsessed with bracelet making, and then I moved on to sculpting polymer clay, and finally I landed on crochet! The first crocheting I did was some granny squares I think.. and then one day, while on Pinterest I found the CUTEST crochet animals. I decided right then and there that I just HAD to find out how to make these adorable little animals! I had a hard time picking it up, but slowly my animals started resembling ACTUAL animals!!
 

I'm by no means an expert, but I made this blog to share all the different things I've learned and taught myself over the past few years! I really hope you enjoy the blog!
